Will Scott – CEO & Co-Founder
Will Scott is a recognized leader in digital marketing, credited for coining the phrase “barnacle SEO” in 2008. A full-time faculty member of Local U, Will is a contributor to some of the most popular online journals and is frequently invited to present at conferences hosted by marketing associations as well as those in other industries. His speaking engagements have included the Certified Contractors Network, Louisiana Dental Association, National Association of Senior Move Managers, PubCon, SMX, and others.
With a degree in Architecture from Tulane University, Will is a professionally trained problem solver whose eye is always on the bigger picture. Naturally curious, Will has yet to meet a business or a person whom he’s not interested in learning more about.
Since putting his first website online in 1994, Will has led teams responsible for creating thousands of websites for business, building hundreds of thousands of pages in online directories, and delivering millions of visits from searches. Angie Scott – COO & Co-Founder
Together with her husband Will, Angie Scott co-founded Search Influence in 2006. As COO, Angie leads the operations, finance, account management, and administrative teams. She received a degree in Accounting at Loyola University New Orleans before working with multiple tech startups in New Orleans, including TurboSquid by Shutterstock.
In 2014, she completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program designed to help growing businesses accelerate their growth. In 2015, Angie was honored as a City Business Woman of the Year. She’s proud that over 70% of the Search Influence staff are women, including a majority of the company’s leadership. In her free time, she enjoys running around with her kids, cycling, and hot yoga.
Paula French – Director of Sales & Marketing
Paula French has developed strategic digital marketing solutions for clients since 2009 when she joined Search Influence — then a 9-person team.
Paula contributed to the company’s rapid growth by building and training effective account strategists.
She has led strategy on digital marketing for the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery, Tulane University School of Professional Advancement, Audubon Nature Institute, and New Orleans Tourism.
Today, Paula plays digital marketing matchmaker by identifying the right marketing solutions to match business goals to help companies in almost any industry optimize their potential, with an emphasis in education, healthcare, and tourism.
Paula speaks about digital marketing in her hometown of New Orleans, as well as on the road, including past panels at MozCon Local in Seattle, Pubcon Las Vegas, and Engage in Portland.
Alison Zeringue – Director of Account Management
As the head of Search Influence’s account strategy team, Alison is passionate about a few key metrics to which her team is accountable: campaign results, the client experience, client retention and growth. Prior to joining Search Influence in 2011, Alison earned her degree in Advertising from LSU’s Manship School and worked as a marketing and advertising liaison for small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs throughout Louisiana. Today, she enjoys working directly with some of Search Influence’s clients on digital and big-picture strategy and indirectly for others through the training and day-to-day support she provides to account managers.
Alison moonlights as a writer for trusted digital publications, including MarketingLand, Biz New Orleans, SearchEngine Land, and New Orleans Mom. Alison is proud to represent Search Influence as a speaker at many conferences, including American Marketing Association’s Symposium for Higher Education, UPCEA’s Marketing & Enrollment Management Seminar, HighEdWeb Analytics Summit, and more.
Jeanne Gaudet Lobman – Digital Advertising Manager
A native of New Orleans, Jeanne came to Search Influence in 2011 after earning Marketing and Advertising degrees from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) Starting out on the Account Management Team, Jeanne quickly established herself as a resource for our clients’ digital advertising strategies, with a focus on Paid Search and Facebook Display.
Recognizing her expertise and passion for the field, she was promoted to the role of Digital Advertising Manager in 2013. As the leader of the Online Advertising Department, Jeanne oversees all paid advertising campaigns, ensuring they align with clients’ marketing objectives. Her deep understanding of digital marketing, coupled with her strategic mindset, enables her to lead and develop our team of digital advertising experts who execute effective campaign strategies. Jeanne continues to develop her expertise in tracking campaign results, analyzing data, and developing actionable Looker Studio reports for our clients and our team.
Beyond her role at Search Influence, Jeanne is an accomplished digital marketing speaker and trainer. She shares her knowledge and insights with both internal teams and external audiences, contributing to the growth and advancement of the industry as a whole.
Michelle Neuhoff Boyd – SEO & Creative Manager
Since joining Search Influence in 2013 as a Graphic Designer, Michelle has been a creative problem solver in the SEO & Creative department. She graduated with honors from Loyola University New Orleans with a BA in Graphic Design and an MBA in Fall 2023. Before joining the team, she worked as an artist, designer, and visual merchandiser in print, digital, and retail environments. Her mission is to ensure that the SEO strategy, content, and creative align seamlessly to achieve our clients’ goals.
Shane Kretzmann – Manager of Technology and Development
Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Shane has established a strong track record of innovation and leadership within the technology sector. He moved to New Orleans in the early 90s, where he launched the city’s first Cyber Cafe, the Realm Of Delirium, pioneering the industry in Louisiana. After a stint in Connecticut following Hurricane Katrina, Shane returned to his beloved New Orleans. Here, he joined Search Influence, where he utilized his extensive technical expertise to create and enhance the systems and tools that our team continues to rely on today. Over a decade at Search Influence has seen Shane progress from a Senior Software Engineer to Scrum Master and now to his current role as Manager of Technology & Development. In this position, he oversees the company’s technology decisions and leads a multifaceted team encompassing Development, Quality Assurance, and Technical Digital Marketing. Beyond his technical prowess, Shane has also been involved with the entertainment industry and has several appearances in movies and TV shows such as Homefront, NCIS New Orleans (NBC), and BlackBird (Apple+).
Lauren Christy – Accounting and Administrative Manager
Originally from the Midwest, Lauren has called Louisiana home for more than two decades, including graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of General Studies. Before joining the Search Influence team in 2012, Lauren gained accounting and small business experience at a small tech company. Lauren’s agility and hunger have grown her role within the organization into more than just accounting and administration. Leading the charge in process development, managing company-wide projects, supporting recruiting efforts, and even dabbling in client work, making her an asset to the team.
